Mild start to the month:

Wed 7th rainy much of Wales, Whitechurch 30.2mm wettest in UK,

Thu 6th very mild night generally, minima Pembrey 10.8c, Coleshill 10.2c, Llanwnnen 9.6c, Shawbury 6.5c. Maxima Hereford 14.0c, Trawsgoed 13.0c, Lwn 11.9c, Aberdaron 11.3c

Short cold snap towards mid month:

Fri 14th widespread frost, sharp locally (min Pershore -4.5c, Nottingham -1.1c, Tirabad -3.2c, Lwn -2.1c, MH 4.1c); maximaTirabad 1.7c, Lwn 3.7c, Pershore 4.0c, MH 6.8c

Soon back to milder unsettled pre Christmas. Wales is having a very dull month:

Sat 22nd a welcome dry bright day...est sun Lwn 3.5 hrs, Aberporth 3.8 hrs

End of month: Great Tits heard to call Coventry; first few Primrose in bloom; first Daff spikes Lwn (usual spot); Bluebell spikes and Celandine foiliage back garden
