Weather log mid to late March 2016

March 2016

Fri 18th contrasts, mild sunny WW, cool cloudy Midlands (Porthmadog 14.1c, Market Bosworth 5.9c)

Sat 19th widespread cloud and quite cool for most (Porthmadog 9.9c, Capel Curig 5.6c)

Prolonged dry spell ended 23rd, some places had a fortnight without rain, WW was also often sunny then Easter was unsettled and rather cool at times

Nature note late March:

First Chiff chaff heard at Alderman's Green, Coventry at Easter (28th) and also at Long Lawford the next day. First Bluebells flowering in the garden before Easter (record).
